    About The Camp

    DNA Athletics is a Tennis academy that focuses on the development of the technical, tactical, and personal growth of the player. Our players will find their own tennis style and identity through different tennis methodologies.

    The FGCU & DNA Athletics summer camp focuses on players who want to improve their competiton skills.
    Tennis strategy, technique, and conditioning will be practice on court.

    We offer to our tennis campers a complete program willing to improve their **UTR rating through a daily training program designed to give them the necessary tools to confront any challenge inside or outside the court.

    DNA Athletics strives to foster the confidence needed for success on and off the court. Our uniquely designed Tennis Camp is tailored to match the needs of each player. We make no compromise in providing the best and most beneficial summer experience programs for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. The tennis camp will take place on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University.

    **UTR stands for (Universal Tennis Rating) is a global tennis player rating system intended to produce an objective, consistent, and accurate index of player’s skill in the game of tennis.

    DNA Athletics FGCU Summer Tennis Camp

    • My child does not have a ranking.

      For the summer camp ALL tennis levels are welcome. We have coaches that are specialize in different tennis levels.

    • What level are the players?

      We have players with different levels. Each player will assign to a group and Coaches will decide each player tennis group based on the player tennis level. The coaches always will take the final decision.

    • What Summer camp do you offer?

      We offer two summer camps: DNA Standard, which runs from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday through Friday, and DNA Experience, a full-day program that includes housing, meals, and activities beyond tennis and fitness. for more information about DNA Experience please contact us.

    • How do I register to the summer camp?

      Please email dnaathletics21@gmail.com or text 239-478-1722 with your name, age, UTR (if available), and T-shirt size.

    • What is the cost of attending the summer camp?

      The summer camp cost is $400 per week

    • What are the weeks of the summer camp

      Week 1 (June 3 - June 7). Week 2 (June 10 - June 14). Week 3 (June 17 - June 21). Week 4 (June 24 - June 28)

    • How long is the summer camp?

      The summer camp lasts for 4 weeks, starting on June 3rd and ending on June 28th.

    • What are the times?

      The summer Camp start goes from Monday through Friday at 8 am and finish at 12:00 pm

    • Where is the location?

      The summer camp will take place at Florida Gulf Coast University tennis courts.

    • Do I have to attend every single week?

      No, you can come for just one week or attend all of them.

    • Do yo offer daily rates?

      We do not offer daily rates. This decision ensures that we can provide the appropriate number of coaches and maintain quality for the players

    • Payment methods

      Checks should be made out to Florida Gulf Coast University, or cash is also accepted. Payment must be made every Monday before the camp starts.

    DNA Athletics Summer Tennis Camp

    On the court

    • Coaches tailor activites to reach desired outcomes.
    • Situational sessions based on a student-athlete's upcoming opponent(s).
    • Coach/player and team meetings each week to understand current performance and drive next level performance.
    • Tennis coaches customize strength and conditioning program.
    • Fundamental instruction and individualized on-court training.
    • Weight training and functional movement and exercise.
    • Challenging team training that drives accountability, strength, and discipline.
    • Opportunity to connect, listen and attend weekly team sessions with sports psychologist who works with amateur and professional athletes on mental health issues; helping our athletes to be prepared and have a deeper understanding for emotional regulation and balance.
    • Weekly personalized report and comprehensive profile; outlining current state and specific goals and desires outcomes.
    • Full time team support, peer guidance and pro social opportunities to develop self confidence within a safe team environment.

    We will provide three meals and a snack per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
    Players will have hydration and snacks at the DNA Athletics house

    Housing

    DNA Athletics House is located close to Fort Myers Downtown. The house has a pool, big patio and living spaces. Girls and boys will be in different floors with a supervision of an adult. The house can host 9 guests.

    The experience off the court includes but is not limited to the following activities:
